About Travel Plans International

Travel Plans International (TPI) has spent 40 years designing and operating vacation packages and customized tours for North America’s most discerning travelers . We are members of the American Society of Travel Agents (ASTA) and the International Air Transport Association (IATA), and have belonged to both of those organizations for most of our 40 years. Because of a recent change in organization design at ASTA, our membership there is now held by our Owner / President, Michael Lawrence, who lives in Fort Worth, Texas.

Our focus markets are Europe and the South Pacific (New Zealand, Tahiti, and Australia). We also have significant experience in South and Central America, the Middle East, Africa and Asia. With a special emphasis on superior quality and personalized service, it is our goal to cause your travel to be delightful entertainment and to broaden your knowledge of the world.

If you do not easily find exactly what you want, call us (preferably while you are in our website). While you are on the phone we will tell you the cost and details of changing one of our packages or tours to precisely the trip that you desire or we will E-mail a spreadsheet summarizing your customized package. (Click here to see an example trip summary). If your customized trip will require a substantial amount of development time, before customizing we will collect a non-refundable development fee of $100 - $300 (depending on the complexity), but will deduct it from the cost of your first trip with us.
